Break the Shell and Walk Beyond --- Public Speaking Workshop Launched at Taihe Academy

Mar 15, 2018, Beijing, China

The first lesson of a serie of workshops themed on public speaking was presented by Mr. Ping XU, the Professor of Performing Arts of Central Academy of Drama, on March 14th, 2017 in Taihe Academy.

The international stage calls for world-class performance of the researchers from Taihe Institute so as to ensure the effective transmission of insightful ideas.  The new era also requires the Taihe team to show up a more elegant presence, establish equivalent status in foreign communications, and perform steadily in various dialogues and negotiations.

The workshop is open to all researchers and assistant researchers from Taihe Institute. Professor Xu will help them break out of his own shells, avoid minefields in public speaking, improve the ability to face the public alone, attract the audience’s attention effectively, and advance self-knowledge along with public speaking skills.

Taihe Institute upholds the principle of “Lifelong Learning”. More workshops aiming at the promotion of self-achievement are supposed to be held in 2018, which serve the goal of improving the charisma and critical thinking skills of researchers, and guiding the steady journey of Taihe Institute towards a leading international institute.
